First Fairmont to open in China

05 May

A landmark, luxury Fairmont is scheduled for opening in Beijing come September. Combining modern architecture with top-notch amenities, the Fairmont Beijing is located near Beijing’s Central Business District and offers convenient access to some of the most popular tourist destinations & cultural landmarks.  Travel Daily News reports as follows:

With its signature rose-gold glass curtain facade and exceptionally crafted architecture, the Fairmont Beijing offers the ultimate in presence, grandeur and elegance taking its rightful place amid the great landmarks, both modern and historic in the heart of Beijing’s downtown district.

Touches of local flavour and overtures of contemporary flair are evident throughout the design elements.  Fairmont Beijing’s magnificent lobby design was inspired by traditional artistic themes and motifs and also boasts such wonders as the 16 meter artisan-crafted Crystal Lighting in the shape of a dragon, which upon closer inspection, reveals hundreds of tiny crystal fish, a symbol of success and prosperity.

Hospitality excellence is paramount to the Fairmont Beijing and full valet and 24 hour butler services are available on each floor. Fine dining in the privacy of their own room is available all day and small touches such as daily shoeshine and newspaper or the limousine service including Bentleys, BMWs and Rolls Royce provides guests with an engaging and memorable experience.
