Well, especially after the recent opening of Trat airport and increasing investments in the tourist infrastructure of the island, the quiet days of former backpacker’s paradise Koh Chang are over. However, the government still insists to preserve Koh Chang’s nature as far as possible by trying to prevent mass tourism on Koh Chang.
